Anyway, this weekend it's Helsinki Comic Festival and here you can see a picture of me cosplaying Yagami Raito from my new favorite manga, "Death Note". (6 steps : let's dance) [08 Sep 2004|01:35pm] Okay, so some more stuff I need to purchase: - A wlan card, about 27 e. - An external sound card, about 50 €. - An USB Hub with at least two slots. About 10 €. - Speakers. I should get used ones from my buddies easily. The USB hub and sound card are not desperately needed, I just need them to play Stepmania (it's bit hard to dance without sound, ya know, and the computer has only one USB port, so it's bit tricky to plug both the sound card and the mat in at the same time without that hub). I think I'll ask my parents for a "dance upgrade" as a birthday present, which would include that sound card, hubs and a new mat. I'm lusting over a foamed pad - or actually, a metal one would be the best but it costs quite a lot. With own computer and all, I think I'll become more active also here in my livejournal. If I just get myself in the wlan network of my school, that is. Whee hee ^_^

(2 steps : let's dance) weekend [09 Jul 2004|08:12am] Okay so the con is here this weekend and that will mean lots of people and having to be social. There will be six (ouch) people staying the night in our house - luckily they're all nice people - and yeah. Geek activities as well ya know, ddr, karaoke and such. I like karaoke. And the most, I like singing tacky songs like Village People and some supertacky Finnish songs like Matti Nykänen and Frederik (Finnish people will know these, the rest of you won't). And some other news. My job practise thing is still going on, and I've learned to drink coffee here. Oh whee, I sure needed more addictions. I also need to find a cheap TV. The old one is spreading an odd smell in the room and that it probably not a good sign - I don't think we want a fire here. So now we'll have to use the big TV downstairs when we wish to play PS2 and that's not so nice because there is ALWAYS someone watching it. Oh well, I usually dance DDR when I'm all alone anyway because I don't want to listen that "Elina, stop stomping and jumpin". Oh, have I mentioned here that we have PS2 these days? It's about damn time. We got FFX with it and I quite like that game. Although there are not enough moogles and Tidus is annoying little duck. Ah, coffeetime ^_^
